The womb-sounds bear..?
I wasn't able to get it before she was born due to stupid money problems that crept up at the last second…she's 25 days old now and sometimes even with all my holding and cuddling she just does not want to sleep or calm down…I still want to get the bear that makes the sounds of the womb…has anyone gotten it? I think it will help her sleep at night when we can't hold her. The biggest problem is the basinnette in the pack-n-play. She doesn't like to sleep in it and I was thinking maybe this would help her once she's swaddled and put in bed with the bear? I do hold her and cuddle her when I can, but we all know sometimes we just can't do it 24/7, so I want to find something that will comfort her when I can't.
A vaccum…you're kidding right? She screamed her head off over the fireworks, how is a vaccum going to help?

It didn't work for us. I was really excited and bought it for the exact reasons you are. For my son though it didn't make any difference.
You never know though it may work great for her. I'd check reviews on amazon and see what other people have said.

put her to bed and turn on a vacume cleaner and let it sit there and run till she falls asleep. then dont shut it off abruptl but back it slowly out of the room, close the door slowly then shut it off.

I didn't use one of those, but I really like the Sleep Sheep. It has rain, stream, ocean, and whale sounds.

We purchased it on the way home from the hospital, a nurse had suggested it. It seemed to work well for us, for about a month or two. We don't turn it on anymore, but she still plays with it. Our daughter is now 10 mos old.

My daughter had colic and the vacuum was the ONLY way to get her to nap… they say white noise is calming to a baby, try turning ur cable off and leaving a static channel on. Good luck.

You could try getting the bear…I haven't owned one so I don't have any personal experience..
Just wanted to add, the fan above the stove is a nice white noise sound.
